Fine-tuning of the colour gradient, viscosity or surface properties

To ensure the consistent quality of the pastes, the pastes are continuously evaluated rheometrically. A particular focus is placed on the viscosity and homogeneity of the pastes used.

The substrate to be printed also needs our attention. For example, we measure the surface energy  and surface roughness in order to subsequently guarantee optimum adhesion of the functional layer. Suitable pre- and post-treatment options are also available.

The performance port film also includes suitable drying of the layer, e.g. by means of a drying oven or UV curing.

The functional layer, the component, is then measured. Our standard procedure includes checking the manufactured functional layers using various evaluation methods to ensure high quality.
